Brixton Pound launches consultation
08/01/2010
The Brixton Pound (B£) steering group today launched a public consultation to ask the Brixton community what the aims and values of the B£ organisation should be.
The group wishes to hear from everyone: local businesses, users of the B£, voluntary and non-profit groups, would-be users of the B£, traders with Brixton businesses and any other interested parties.
Respondents can express their views online at http://brixtonpound.org/consultation. The page's wiki function allows direct editing to the existing set of aims and values (see notes to editors below).
Consultation responses can also be submitted in writing to:
Brixton Pound Consultation
53 Gresham Road
Brixton
SW9 7NU
or by email to consultation@brixtonpound.org
This consultation is the beginning of a process for the group to incorporate later this year as a Community Interest Company (CIC), limited by guarantee, in order to better serve the Brixton community.
The consultation closes on Monday 8th February 2010.
