New Parking Bays by 2nd June
26/05/2010
Good news! The Council's long-promised 50 new parking bays are to be in place by 2nd June.
This will go some way to improving the situation for traders and customers in the market who have been suffering particularly since the emergency closure of Pope's Road carpark before Christmas.
The Council will be distributing leaflets that explain where the bays are and how they work.
Well done to Stuart and John for the long effort on this (and to those email-senders, Cllrs and officers who pushed forward the implementation from the end of June.)
We hope traders see an improvement with these much needed new bays.
